Gorgeous ancient Palace, dated XVI century, completely restored keeping the original features, frescoes on the ceilings, terracotta floors, private holy chapel, private internal courtyard and a characteristic round tower. A team of experts from Tuscany restored reto the original building using ancient pictures, stones, furniture, doors and tiles found all over Italy to be well integrated with the old ones. The building is part of the walls surrounding the village with the tower overlooking all the valley. The Palace, on 5 floors is composed of approx. 20 rooms, 3 bathrooms, big living room, Renaissance Loggia with wonderful arced windows and 2 terraces with a stunning view on Majella, Gran Sasso and Sirente ranges and one of the film locations used in the movie "Lady Hawk".
Two floors at the bottom need to be finished inside and preserved huge rooms with bricks vaulted ceilings, original fireplaces, and is possible to connect to the rest of the building. The small town, inside the Gran Sasso national park, is in the Club of "The most beautiful villages in Italy" and offers all the facilities (shops, bank, restaurants, B&B). During summer there are plenty of special cultural events, concerts and festivals in the area and the traditional "Night of the Witches", a theatrical representation of popular legends.
